An El Verde Inn Wedding in Albuquerque
Claudia and Carlos got married at El Verde Inn in August 2025, and I photographed their wedding.
El Verde Inn is a boutique inn on Country Club Lane on Albuquerque's Westside. It hosts weddings of up to 75 guests, has an outdoor courtyard, and has 16 rooms on site, so family can stay where the celebration is.
An Outdoor Ceremony with Sunflowers
The ceremony was outside. Sunflowers grew along the inn's white walls, the flower girls wore pink, and a floral arch stood at the front. After the vows, Claudia and Carlos walked back up the aisle under it.
A Venue Sized for a Real Guest List
Up to 75 guests is a good size for documentary coverage. One photographer can reach every table and every person who matters to you, and nobody gets lost in a crowd. With rooms on site, getting ready, the ceremony, and the reception can all happen at the inn.
August Light and Weather
In early August the sun sets a little after 8 pm in Albuquerque. Summer afternoons can also bring monsoon storms. I plan portraits for the last hour of light and keep an indoor backup in mind in case a storm rolls through.
