Start with what the images are for

Corporate event photography is not one job. Recap galleries for internal recognition, press and PR images, headshots pulled on site, and marketing footage for next year's registration page each need different coverage and different framing. Naming the deliverables first is what keeps a shoot from producing a thousand candids and none of the five images the marketing team actually needed.

Questions that separate a pro from a hobbyist

Ask how they handle mixed and low light, because most corporate rooms are both. Ask for turnaround in writing, since a recap sent the next morning is worth far more than one sent in three weeks. Ask whether they carry backup bodies and lighting. And ask whether they cover photo and video, since one hire covering both is simpler to brief and cheaper than two crews working around each other.

What corporate coverage costs

Denver rates track the market. A half day of corporate coverage generally starts around twenty-five hundred dollars and a full day around four thousand, with multi-day retainers and added video priced by scope. Prints, same-day edits, and on-site headshot stations are usually add-ons. Those are ranges for planning, not a quote; the real number depends on hours, deliverables, and whether video is included.

How to brief the shoot

A good brief fits on one page: the run of show, the three or four must-have moments, a short shot list of people who need to be photographed, and where the images will be used. Share it a few days ahead. The difference between a usable gallery and a random one is almost always the brief, not the camera.
