Who I Am
Casey Addason. Santa Fe-based wedding and event photographer. I split my year roughly 50/50 between weddings and corporate events, which is unusual — most photographers pick one. The reason I do both is operational: weddings teach you to read a room without being told what to look for, and corporate events teach you to deliver to a brand standard on a deadline. The combination is what most companies actually need.
Repeat corporate clients in northern New Mexico include RMC (4 events including Eaves Movie Ranch, Volvo at Bishop's Lodge, Georgia Pacific, Pagani), Mele Associates (5 events — holiday parties and retreats at Hyatt Regency Tamaya), Van Wyck (private celebrations at the Pink Adobe), Planned Parenthood of New Mexico (3 fundraiser events), plus Mercury Corporate Retreat, International Paper, NVM Summit, and Super Digital Retreat. Born and raised in the Southwest, fully embedded in the Santa Fe and Albuquerque event community.
What You Get
- Documentary photo and video coverage. I shoot both. Your event ends up with a full edited gallery and, if your package includes it, a highlight reel or full event documentation. Most clients use the photos for marketing collateral, press releases, social media, internal comms, and case studies. Many use the video for the next year's event promotion.
- Next-day delivery on every event. Your marketing team has images before the event recap email goes out. Not a week later. Not after a round of follow-ups. The morning after.
- Full commercial usage rights, included. Use the images in marketing, social media, press releases, internal comms, and case studies. No additional licensing fees. No hidden surprises in month four when your team wants to use the photos in a different campaign.
- Reliable operational behavior. I show up early, scout the space, coordinate directly with your events team, work politely with other vendors, stay out of the way during meals or service, and leave the property cleaner than I found it.
- Insurance documentation on request. $2M general liability and $1M professional liability. Certificate of insurance available same day, can be issued with your venue or company named as additionally insured.

Venues I Know
Corporate events in New Mexico tend to land at the same handful of properties. I've worked most of them multiple times and know the light, the layouts, and the logistics:
- Bishop's Lodge (Auberge Resorts) — 8+ events. Corporate retreats, dinners, community events. I know every corner.
- Eaves Movie Ranch — Western-themed corporate events. Unique backdrop, tricky light, requires a photographer who has been there before.
- Hyatt Regency Tamaya — Mele Associates retreats. Resort setting with indoor and outdoor options along the Rio Grande.
- La Fonda on the Plaza — Galas and fundraisers in the heart of Santa Fe. The ballroom and rooftop are both strong.
- Santa Fe Convention Center — The default for large-scale conferences. Fluorescent lighting that needs to be managed carefully.
- El Monte Sagrado (Taos) — Intimate retreats with a high-end setting. Worth the drive north for the right event.
- Four Seasons Rancho Encantado — Sweeping views, refined spaces. Ideal for executive retreats.
- Pink Adobe — Private celebrations and intimate corporate dinners in one of Santa Fe's most iconic buildings.
If your event is at a venue not on this list, that's not a problem. I scout new venues quickly without disrupting staff and arrive on the day knowing the space. Full portfolio and recent work at addasonphoto.com/portfolio.
How I Work On The Day
Arrive 60–90 minutes early. Quick walkthrough with your events lead, scout the key locations, confirm timeline, identify special asks (specific people to capture, brand moments to prioritize, sensitive areas to avoid).
Shoot the program plus the in-betweens. Keynotes, breakouts, networking, meals, candids, brand moments, the room itself. I stay invisible during the program and active during the breaks. Couples who hire me for weddings consistently say they barely noticed I was there. Same applies at corporate events.
Coordinate quietly with other vendors. AV teams, catering, the venue staff. I move around their work, not through it.
Headshot station, if booked. I can run a parallel headshot operation during downtime — 10-minute slots, neutral background, same-day delivery to attendees.
Stay until the wrap. Final candids, room reset, thank-you to the events team. Out the door without making it weird.

Turnaround Timeline
- Day of event. A small set of "instant" photos texted to your marketing lead within 2 hours of the event ending — for any same-night social posts.
- Day +1. Full edited gallery delivered via private link. Ready for press releases, recap emails, marketing collateral.
- Day +1. If you booked headshots, all headshots delivered to attendees by close of business.
- Day +2 to +5. Optional highlight reel video (if booked), delivered as MP4 + a square cut for social.
The next-day delivery is the part most clients tell me makes the biggest difference. Your event recap email goes out with real photos, not stock placeholders, and your team can move on to the next thing.
"Casey's positive energy had all of our 150 guests eating out of his hand. The turnaround was unbelievably fast."— Sean, Corporate client
What I Don't Do
- I don't pose people. Documentary, not staged. If you want a corporate-style shot list with grip-and-grin photos at every step, hire a different photographer. I'll capture the handshakes that matter without being asked.
- I don't disappear with the files for two weeks. Next-day delivery is a hard commitment, not an aspiration.
- I don't overpromise on AI deliverables. I'm a photographer with years of experience reading rooms. The deliverable is photos and video shot by a human who knows the work.
"We've booked Casey multiple times. He shows up, gets the shot, delivers the next morning. Done."— Mele Associates events team

Frequently Asked Questions
What's your turnaround time for corporate events?
Next business day for the full edited gallery. A small set of "instant" photos gets texted to your marketing lead within 2 hours of the event ending for same-night social posts. Headshots delivered to attendees by close of business the same day.
Do you carry liability insurance?
Yes. $2 million general liability and $1 million professional liability. Certificate of insurance available same day on request, and can be issued with your venue or company named as additionally insured.
Are commercial usage rights included?
Yes. Full rights to use all images in marketing, social media, press releases, case studies, and internal communications. No additional licensing fees, no surprise charges in month four when your team wants to use the photos in a different campaign.
Do you shoot photo AND video?
Yes. Both in one vendor. Your team doesn't have to coordinate two separate teams on the day, two separate contracts, or two personalities on-site. Lower stress, lower cost, and the brand storytelling is more coherent because one creative vision runs both mediums.

Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Taos, and all of northern New Mexico with no travel fees. Southern New Mexico, Austin, Dallas, and Houston with travel fees. Available nationwide for conferences and retreats.
Can you run a headshot station during our event?
Yes. I set up a neutral-background headshot station during downtime or the cocktail hour. 10-minute sessions per person, same-day delivery to attendees. $150 per person.
