Bishop's Lodge, Auberge Resorts Collection, is where I've spent more time with a camera than any other property in New Mexico. Corporate retreats, community events, adventure sessions on the surrounding trails, and private photography lessons for resort guests. I've photographed this property in every season, at every hour, in every kind of light the Sangre de Cristos produce.
That kind of familiarity changes the work. I don't need to scout. I don't need to guess where the light will be at 5 PM in October or where the best backdrop is for a team photo in July. I already know. And that means more time making images, less time figuring out logistics.
Conferences, galas, team retreats, product launches, and multi-day executive gatherings. I've covered more than a dozen corporate events at Bishop's Lodge for clients including RMC, Volvo, Georgia Pacific, and Pagani. I know the ballroom light, the terrace setup options, the transition times between spaces, and how the property flows when 150 people are moving through a schedule.
Documentary approach. I work without direction, read the room, and deliver images that show the energy of the event — not a series of posed group shots. Next-day delivery so your marketing team has what they need before the recap email goes out.
Casey's positive energy had all of our 150 guests eating out of his hand. The turnaround was unbelievably fast.— Sean, Corporate Event at Bishop's Lodge
Bishop's Lodge sits at the base of the Sangre de Cristo foothills, and the surrounding landscape is some of the best in Santa Fe for photography. I lead small-group adventure sessions on the property grounds and nearby trails — golden hour walks, landscape photography outings, and portrait sessions that use the natural environment as the backdrop.
These sessions are for couples, families, corporate teams, or solo travelers who want more than a standard portrait sitting. We move through the property, work with the light as it changes, and come away with images that feel like the place — not a studio with a pretty background.
I teach private and small-group photography lessons for Bishop's Lodge guests. Photo 101 covers the fundamentals: camera settings, composition, how to read natural light, and how to use Santa Fe's unique environment to make better photographs. Available as a resort activity — no prior experience required.
I work with whatever camera you bring, including your phone. The goal is to leave with practical skills you'll use the rest of the trip and beyond, plus a set of images you made yourself during the lesson.
Contact me with your dates, group size, and what you're looking for. I'll send a custom quote within 24 hours. Corporate events, adventure sessions, and Photo 101 lessons can all be booked directly through my contact page.
Photo 101 is a hands-on photography lesson I teach at Bishop's Lodge. Available as a private or small-group session for resort guests. You'll learn camera basics, composition, and how to use Santa Fe's natural light. No experience needed — I work with whatever camera you have, including phones.
Adventure sessions work best with 2-8 people. Small enough to move through the trails and grounds at a comfortable pace, large enough to make it a shared experience. For corporate team outings, I can accommodate larger groups with adjusted timing.
